TRANS* ECOLOGY CLUB
Stretching across species, ecologies and matter itself the Trans* ecology club is a slow reading group for the ecologically inclined or curious. Co-created and Convened by Luna Mrozik Gawler and Char Lee, the club creates iterative space for the exploration of trans perspectives and embodiments as they intersect with the more-than-human world, through close co-reading of both critical and creative texts.
Initiated in early 2024, the club hosts a mixture of regular in-person and online gatherings as well as special events for close explorations of trans* more-than-human worlds including but not limited to lightning, primordial ooze, eels, cuttlefish, orchids, fungi and fish.
Hosted at TERRAIN bookshop, the Trans* ecology club homes artists, academics, designers, students, gardeners and ecologists alike.
